The Victoria Falls continues to be one of the most remarkable natural wonders of the globe. The local folks call it “Mosi-oa-Tunya”, the smoke that thunders & is a water fall is a waterfall in the southern Africa on the Zambezi River at the border between Zambia & Zimbabwe.  Amazingly preserved in its natural state, Victoria Falls inspires travelers as much these days as it did David Livingstone in the 1860’s. The falls & the surrounding region have been National Parks & a world heritage site, hence preserving the region from excess commercialization.  Statistically speaking, Victoria Falls is the largest waterfall in the globe. This identification comes from combining the width and height together to produce the biggest single sheet of streaming water.  For your knowledge the Victoria Falls is 1 708m wide, making it the largest curtain of water in the world. It drops between 90m & 107 meters into the Zambezi Gorge and an average of 550,000 cubic meter
